Learning and Educational Resources for Slow Learners, Down Syndrome and Autism
POPs Family Books Educational and Reading Resources
Welcome to the world of POPS Family. Our philosophy is to provide high quality, simple to use, tried and tested resources to help your child achieve their potential. POPS stands for Plenty of Potential. As a parent of a differently abled child I struggled to find suitable material to progress my child’s reading. POPS books focus on building a sight vocabulary of functional and common words. The reading material progresses in small graded steps and focuses on everyday easily understood topics.

Teaching Children With Special Needs

A learning experience where my son had fun prolonged the time he was prepared to apply himself to his work. POPS Resources offers the same fun filled book and games approach aimed at maximising your child’s exposure to the targeted vocabulary.

My son loves success and thrives on praise. Opportunities for success are an integral component of these resources. Children can experience success by reading the text, by matching the accompanying Word Cards to words at the bottom of every page or by matching Word Cards to the lotto games at the back of each book. Finding the elephant hidden in each illustration offers another opportunity for success.

The resources we offer are especially valuable when seeking to engage and motivate children who have language delay as well as those children who are differently abled. They progress in small easy steps, have large clear text, are attractively illustrated and have that essential element of fun. Fun, praise and opportunities for success are appreciated by all children and the resources we offer are designed to meet these needs.

Once unwrapped, our high quality resources are easy to use and contained in a sturdy box for long life. No time consuming set up, while your child gets bored or worse still wanders off! We know our materials work, we have seen the results!

Our materials are suitable for home and school use:

At home - to extend your child's sight vocabulary and phonic skills.

At school - invaluable for supporting targets for your child's Individual Educational Plan.
