Our Titles
The programme fosters achievement through success and praise. This is achieved by setting developmentally appropriate targets such as finding the hidden elephant, Boo, to reading the text using the supporting information clearly shown in the illustrations. Some children will be able to read all text on the page; others will be able to match the targeted words on each page. Others may enjoy a shared reading experience whilst finding Boo in the illustrations.
Each reader in the programme:
- Progresses in small easy steps
- Focuses on everyday topics and high frequency words
- Has a speech therapy script to help you improve your child’s language
- Has games in every book for fun consolidation of key words
- Has a predictable format for children who need structure and routine
- Uses oral language structure to support learning to read
The Red Elephant Series
Our first series comprises 16 readers of 16 pages. Topics covered are Animals, Toys, The Body, Dressing, Place, Everyday Items, Quantity, Personal Qualities, Home, Size, Describing Words, Social Words, Outside, Meal and Snacks and Transport.

The Blue Elephant Series Books
Our second series comprises 16 readers of 24 pages. This series reuses over 85% of the words from the Red Elephant Series while also introducing words from the following new topics: Action, Play and Colours. New for this series is the addition of a Comprehension Game and a Sentence Completion game.
